Our Training & Employment Service
is here to help.
Murin have recently developed a training employment arm of the business to deliver a number of services focused on disengaged indigenous men and women of our region into work. We are capable of putting together pre employment programs for new staff and up skill your current staff.
We can train in a number of areas such as pastoral, ranger groups, construction, civil, transport and logistics and administration. Murin are also involved in a number of community based programs aimed at the future employability of young people in the communities in the West Daly Region.
What we do
Employment Pathway
We help and support Indigenous jobseekers into suitable, sustainable jobs and traineeships.
We provide ongoing structured mentoring support that empowers and builds community capacity.
Community Engagement
We actively work with local Indigenous Communities across our regions and partner with the community to create opportunities for its members.
Personal Development
We devlop life skills, cross-cultural awareness and ensure all indigenous employees have the best chance of success in their role.
Cattle Industry Service
Murin has access to a large training Centre and accommodation in Darwin and a Working Aboriginal cattle property to assist training aboriginal people in the cattle industry.
